Swan Perth International Women in Film Festival.

Starting in 2022, our Festival manager, Gizela Harms came up with ‘Swan’ - Perths only locally ran women’s focused film festival.

Five years in, our festival runs annually in October celebrating Female identifying filmmakers from all across the world, and especially here in Perth. Whether you are an established filmmaker, in the beginning stages of your career or just an appreciator of film, our festival has an opportunity for you.

Submissions open for our 2026 festival on International Women’s Day (8th of March) and close on the 27th of July. Tickets for the festival will be live in July 2026. Our festival is planned and operated on Whadjuk Noongar land. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
